TURÓCZI, Attila

training, counselling

Having had my excursions into studying programmes like Russian Language and Culture, as well History of Hungary and the World, I ended up at the Eötvös Loránd University of Sciences, studying first Teaching English as a Foreign Language and English Language and Culture, then studying Psychology. Finally I graduated as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language and as a Psychologist specialising in Organisational Development and Counselling. All these have shaped part of my identity and my work. I wrote my psychology thesis on the implementation of the theory of Learning Organisations.

I am doing things that I feel help me contribute to making the world a better place. I work as a family and couple therapist, as a psychological counsellor, as a coach, as translator of humanistic and transpersonal psychology books, I lead groups, work as a trainer, teach psychology, spread psychological knowledge available for the lay public, as well as build and localise community websites as a hobby. As a trainer I feel comfortable in both indoor and outdoor situations, my strengths are flexible process control and facilitating self-reflective insights.
